In line with The Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015, all physiotherapy treatments require referral obtained using the form below.  We request an updated referral form every 6 months.

Animals can be referred for fitness, strengthening, prehabilitation, rehabilitation, maintenance and palliative purposes.

To refer an animal for physiotherapy treatment, please complete the form below and return via email to optimumvetphysio@gmail.com. 

All treatment modalities used are derived from evidence-based research and are performed by Emma Lankester BSc (Hons) VetPhys. Emma is fully insured and accredited by the Institute of Registered Animal and Veterinary Physiotherapists (IRVAP) and the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).

Each treatment is tailored to the individual patient, and combines electrotherapies, manual therapies and remedial exercises. A full list of modalities used can be found using the link below. 

At Optimum Veterinary Physiotherapy, we strongly believe in using a client-centred approach whilst working within a multimodal team. To optimise patient outcomes, we ask for a full case history upon referral.
